Dear Ones: You all Whom I love dearly. I know you love me and I have nothing less than the most sincere and heartfelt appreciation for everything all of you have done for me. I know you are disheartened by my passing. It is a sad thing and I share your grief. But I do not grieve for myself. I know that you have always felt more helpless than
practically helpful because the system which had me bound and led me to my death was so overwhelming and never made sense. I spent more than one third of my life in this, you can trust that I do know how you feel. The imposition was always daunting. The letters gave me more than you will ever know. I also know that my letters have given you a great deal as well, you told me. You were my
inspiration. I could not have given had I not received the grace at your hand. And I truly, truly Thank You.
I have been in contact with the Dear Friend who operates and masters this web page. She is Joanna. Many of you know her as well because of the great circle of friendship we all share. She has decided to take this page in a slightly different direction, and yet she is not completely sure what the best objective should be. I invite all of you to make considered
suggestions in the light of helping as you have helped me. Perhaps it might be space better utilized in helping more than one person. Neverthe-less, we are primarily interested in that which will give relief to anyone currently victimized by the unfair and impossible system of state sponsored murder known as capital punishment. My next project was to be a Global Vote in which the earth would be sectioned into
geo-political regions with coordinators and representatives in each section. They would accumulate information, share with the other coalition representatives and create an Internet poll so that we might gather
one billion certifiable signatures to the questions supporting the moratorium and ultimately, the abolishment of the death penalty.
How many times have we in Texas heard in reply that some 'majority' or '70%' of Texans support capital punishment? Firstly, that's simply not true. What constitutes a representative sample? They might be able to state that 70% of those polled support it, but we don't know how many people were actually polled nor anything else about them. I am certain that not every 'Texan' was asked. I would suggest
that not one billion people were polled. But if that were the number, 70% is less than one billion. I want one billion (perhaps more) people actually supporting a moratorium and abolition- refuting the death penalty.
That's just my dream for your future. Perhaps you can modify it and make it work. The reason for this epistle now is to thank you. I apologize that I did not personally contact each and every one of you. I am a classic procrastinator, I did not intend to victimize you with my lack of diligence.
There is one final thing I would like to say. I know I will be in heaven waiting for those of you who choose the narrow path. I can give you the assurance of the same promise I received. I confessed my sins, I repented and turned away, I give glory to God and die in dedication of my death and life for God. Please people, I beg you with all that I have
ever been which is good: Read you Holy Bible. The path to Heaven, though narrow, is the only thing you can do which will give meaning to your life. Confess your sins, sin no more. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and keep His Commandments. God loves you so much. So very, very, very much. He wants only and nothing more than to have you, His little children in Heaven with Him. We
were created to love Him. You will be thanking Jesus and living a life to have life everlasting instead of living a life waiting for death. Please also keep in mind that no sin is so great that God cannot forgive you. Remember, all sin, any sin is capable and will keep your name out of the Book of Life. God does not measure sin because all have sinned and fallen short. But those who acknowledge
the weakness of their humanity and strive to do better will be given the ultimate ducat- Life everlasting, more abundant and, ultimately, a heavenly body in Heaven in fellowship with God or Creator. I waited, as a fool, until the day, before I was murdered by the State of Texas. How many of you will wait, put it off just one more day, one more week, and then die in your sins? Why be so blatantly foolish???
Have you any idea what you risk??!
Love God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul, and love your neighbor as you love yourself. The greatest commandment is Love.
Peace be with you. Be well. Go with God. I bid you adieu and as my last prayer, shall pray to see each and every one of you in Heaven. Praise God. Michael Lee McBride. . . out.
